What is the mission of the DMGMC?
The Des Moines Gay Men’s Chorus is dedicated to promoting harmony among all while advancing a positive image of gay people through outstanding musicianship, creative programming, and community outreach.

What is “Conductor’s Club Membership”?
Making a financial commitment of $250 or above, either as a one time gift or pledged over the next 12 months, entitles you to join in an exclusive pre-concert V.I.P. reception that includes:
- light appetizers, drinks, socializing, and reserved seating at concerts,
- a concert overview by conductor Rebecca Gruber, and
- insider information on how your support is contributing to the Chorus’ success.

Are donations to DMGMC tax-deductible?
Yes! The Des Moines Gay Men’s Chorus is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. It is the policy of the DMGMC that the personal information of our donors remains confidential.
How can I make a donation?
Consider showing your support by joining our growing list of financial supporters. Donations are accepted online or by picking up one of our donation envelopes, available at each of our concerts. You may also make a tax-deductible donation by cash or check (payable to DMGMC) by mailing it to:
